The management of the city of Namur’s pool of vehicles equipped with Telefleet geolocation

Initial needs:
As part of its reorganization of its vehicle pool, the city of Namur wanted to acquire a fleet management and geolocation tool.  Its aim was to avoid buying a new vehicle by optimizing vehicle sharing.

Geolocation solution implemented: Boxes on board all of the pool’s vehicles since 2008.

Benefits of implementing Telefleet geolocation:

• better control over vehicles’ use
• limitation of the city’s expenditures and better budget allocation
